Do I have to have steam?

I dont run steam on my computer. Do I have to run steam to play titans also how do I know if I get the free upgrade? I backed this game a long time before it came out but dont know if I get it or not since I dont have steam.

If you were a backer, the UberLauncher should download Titans for you. No Steam necessary.

Ah now it worked.
Remember even the new launcher requires you to click verify a few times.

Ok thanks. If I am not grandfathered in how do I get the stand alone pa titan?

I just missed the kickstarter but bought PA days after. I also only use the uber launcher. Does this mean I have to switch to steam? I don't mind paying by the way just need to know if I need to convert to steam when back at my PC.

I hear there might be an option in the armory.
