Guys, I still can't tell the difference between 480 and 720... Idk why any of this matters to anyone but when I am old someone will complain about using 4k because that is for cavemen and is unwatchably blurry, and I will still be in my room rubbing my arm against the screen static watching VHS recordings of YuYu Hakusho and Homeward Bound.
Try watching a movie on a modern HD TV at 1080x1920 16:9 resolution. 480p is fine when the video isn't fullscreen, but when you get to full screen size its nice to jump up to at least 720p.
Depends on how big the screen is, pixel density and all that. If you're using a large TV you'll want your movie in 1080p.
