PA load issues

    I'm having an issue loading PA through the launcher. I just recently installed Windows 10 and the latest build model that includes the asteroids, but all it seems to do when I click Play button is try and verify the latest install. The game doesn't load. Any ideas?

    I too am seeing this with a Win 10 Pro 64 Bit laptop with 4GB RAM and Core 2 Duo. Latest PA Build keeps re-verifying. This is with my game download from this site, I have no Steam key.

    Thx for any pointers.

    Hmm, "ERROR Encountered an error downloading". That's not very descriptive...

    Could the launcher be blocked by the firewall? Could you try disabling the firewall to see if that makes a difference?

    I'm too having this problem! Tried disableing the firewall without success. I am also running win10.

    Thx DeathByDenim for the suggestions.

    I have tried:

    Disabling firewall: No change.
    While firewall disabled re-installing: No change.
    Tried your alternative launcher: An elaboration of the original message is received. Can't copy and paste the error but the gist is - "Error while getting bundle (2). Error downloading http://download ... ... ... <end long url> server replied: Not Found"

    I have no idea what to try next. Only certain download bundles seem to give this errors as some have loaded fine. I'm open to any further suggestions.

    Well that's really odd. That seems to indicate that the required files cannot physically be located on Uber's servers at all.

    @mkrater : Is there any trouble with the server going on right now? It oddly seems to be Win10 specific so far...

    I've just tried it again and noticed there has been a new version deployed. This has worked seamlessly and PA is now operational for me. Thank you all for your assistance and thank you Uber.
