    It's much better with the lights way shorter, but I still took me a while to make up my mind (is it better with or without the sidelights?). After a while it grew on me and I think it's better with. :) Good work chap!

    Are there any other tweaks you are thinking of trying out?

    Update
    - Updated the t1, t2, and t3 laser muzzle flashes to match their laser color.​

    - Reworked Leviathan trail effect, also made the splash bigger (even though its much bigger than it's actual splash radius) Thanks @rivii

    - Slight recoloring of the Orca trail effect​

    really nice job with that electricity, it's pretty hard to get them to look good.

    gives me an idea to include that maybe to the commander death explosions differenetiating them from nukes ..

    i remember @KNight doing some flashlike nukeexplosion for his blackops unleashed basilisk

    You should be able to have his effect apply over mine if I just change my mod's priority a bit lower.
    Have you tried it in-game? The rings are not too obvious. Anyways, I think in this instance you will have to deal, because I like them xD

    Yeah, it's really just there to add a particular texture. I didn't want it to be very visible. I hope time wins you over!

    you can mod the .pfx file and remove emitters. You can press ctrl+F to search the file, probably seearch for "ring" and then the baseTexture will popup. Then you can delete that emitter (they start with { and end with } ).

    So if I remove the ring.papa file from this location (C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Planetary Annihilation\media\pa\effects\textures\particles)? This will remove the rings entirely, but the mod will still work?

    No, no no no. haha! That will break many things which rely on the ring, (like the clicking effect). What you need to do is go to the effect that resides in the mod itself.
    - Go to client_mods/com.pa.domdom.laser_unit_effects/mod/leviathan/leviathan_ammo_trail.json
    - Then find ring.papa in that file, it should be near "baseTexture": "/pa/effects/...../ring.papa"
    - Then go back a bit to find the key "alpha"
    - replace:
    "alpha": <some stuff here>,
    with
    "alpha": 0,
