Bigger Planets then 1300?? 50+ players?

When will you be able to create bigger planets then 1300 scale like you could on early beta?

Feels to me like the maximum size for planet making is getting smaller and smaller insted of bigger and bigger xD.

I was promised extreme planet size and galaxies with 50+ players on the same map, Thats why i donated money to Planetary Annaihilation kickstarter project.

I love extreme big scales battles and are not afraid of possible lag, but so far this game havent delivered it. : /

50+ will not happen, If we are lucky we will get 20 player with no slow down. The lag is not the problem, the server slowdown is.

On my own machine I can make a 3500 radius moon with no csg. But you will never be able to play a map 1500 + with the current csg generation. Your talking like 600 csg on 1500 and about 2000 csg on a 3000. Soooooo yea. Gl on bigger planets. Scale units down best way to get the size scale different. Not bigger planets. At 10 moves speed so a Bolo. It takes about 400 seconds for it to go north to south pole on a 1300 radius. On a 3000 radius planet it takes 15 minutes 40 seconds or so.

Seconds and minutes are two different measures, why quote two things you are wishing to compare in two measures?

No actually, it's not. I could demonstrate this with a wealth of examples, but I won't. He should have stated the factor and the figures as supporting information if we're going to get anal about it.

(a hint : don't click anywhere on PA while it's ui has locked up during the ~20min loading time, this causes an insta-crash, if however you do wait until the loading symbol is gone in PA (and at that time windows's loading cursor will leave as well) then you can click all over the place no problem.

as you can see I'm currently only using 3166MB so it shouldn't really matter if you have 16GB of ram.
