How long will the development of PA continue? It's a legitimate question, and one of which I can then base my expectations.
This is what i think i know Coherent for UI again Playfab backend It may Have a VR component It might based in the MNC universe Everyone can pick there own 4 things max, and we'll see who gets the closes,
New IP altogether, though perhaps still retaining some elements of the Human Resources universe Robots. Fo sho' Will not be free to play Dubstep soundtrack Playfab backend doesn't really count as a guess. It's an ex-Uber spinoff and has plenty of staff and stock crossovers
Probably something VR related. Would be cool if they managed to pull off a Human Resources Demo. But still wishing for MNC2.
Well not long until we find out, although I wouldn't hold your breath for HR as surely that would be 'PA related' given it's on the same engine. One thing I'm sure of- if Uber are splashing the cash for an E3 reveal it's going to be something big Wouldn't be much point to launch Toy Rush at E3 for example...
Speaking of E3, XB1 announced Backwards compatability with emulation. So let's vote to get MNC on XB1! https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/2...ility/suggestions/8377602-monday-night-combat
According to the Major Nelson: Re Xbox One Back Compat: Game developers just need to approve titles showing up. Preview members will get it later today ! https://twitter.com/majornelson/status/610490367729905664
There are still issues that will come up, and some of the games in the preview program have some bugs when playing cross console. It's easier than porting the game for sure, but definitely not as simple as just giving an approval. I reached out to a few of the devs, but only heard a response from Scathis. I think in all honesty Uber is unaware of this or what it entails, I think it's less effort than they think but more effort than we think. If they weren't working on PA and this new IP, I'd have SOME confidence that they would attempt it, but with these two games out I feel there's no way we'd see MNC make it to X1. Scathis had told me regardless of how feasible it is, they need "people infrastructure" to handle a variety of things, including the community and the influx of players. If they were do to this, I would really hope that they put in the effort to do it right and help new players improve in the game in one way or another..
