I am really wondering how to do this becuase today I saw this: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/wip-server-modx.60372/page-6 I hope this mod is downloadable, and if it is, how would I get it? Thanks!
You have to download an alternate launcher called PAMM (just google planetary annihilation PAMM). That basically has a list of all the mods here and allows you to install them just by selecting the mods you want. Hope this helps. EDIT: Here's a direct link to the PAMM forum thread. https://forums.uberent.com/threads/pa-mod-manager-pamm-cross-platform.59992/
And the answer's still no. Honestly, FTL community understood loud and clear, and the got less mod support when the game was built and released. You got mod support, you just have to use a community built automated manager. Which is still nicer than FTLs. But hey, keep begging, nothing wrong with that as long as you know it's likely ineffective. Anyway, also, what about PAHub? I have a copy from about 6 months ago and started trying to work on a mod, and realized I haven't used PAHub in that long as I haven't adjusted any mods since then. Now, it doesn't seem to find directory or mods folder. @DeathByDenim , any clue what I should do? Is there a way to specify my PA install and mods directory?
Yeah, that's probably because pahub only looks at the directory called "mods", but since the introduction of server mods, Uber decided to change the mod name for client mods to "client_mods", though "mods" still works as well if "client_mods" isn't present. Anyway, yeah, as stuart98 said, use PAMM as pahub hasn't seen much development lately. Not sure why you pinged me as that was @raevn 's project. Oh, or maybe you are confused with the alternative PA installer I wrote. It has a nifty sub feature of quickly enabling/disabling mods.
Tbh, I looked at the last post of the thread. It was 12:42 when I posted that, which is late considering I work overnight.
