As the topic says, since the patch yesterday, the game will no longer launch properly and i cannot play. The game launches and the music plays, but the screen is black. I can however see the two menu items on the bottom right for friend list and that other item. Game worked perfectly fine til the patch yesterday so i am not sure what is going on.
    win7 64 bit
    geforce 780 ti @ 340.52 driver
    All other drivers updated
    All other games work perfectly

I have verified game cache as well. Any ideas?

Please upload your DxDiag and, if possible, crash logs and / or dump files. See my signature for details.

First of all check if you have running any streaming software (DxTory, Bandicam, etc) or any system monitoring software that have OSD menus like MSI Afterburner?

Those cause such behaviour lately so better to disable/remove them temporary.

I only had nvidia desktop capture enabled, which did not help when i turned it off.

    Attached are the files.

I get the same thing when I start or load Galactic War. This started happening a week ago for me, though (was the first time I'd updated in over a month at that time).

Mine happens when i just load the game at all. Weird really. It could have been caused by something earlier, i haven't loaded the game for a while, previous to yesterday.

I can confirm that MSI after burner is to blame. Turning it off makes the game work fine.

Well, I don't have that, so... I guess I'll post in a new thread.

Could you also upload a DxDiag.txt? Instructions are in SXX's post above.
