well i'm just paranoid now because Rockstar (it's a separate company, but still) didn't allow mods for GTA.

Or they wanted people to do whatever the hell they wanted to do in stead of forcing them down paths.

Besides, i enjoyed Skyrim a thousand times more when roleplaying it properly. And even more when i stopped Smithing and Enchanting stuff.

HD screenshots from the trailer have been released. Can't find them on a Bethesda site though. Anyone got a link?

I meant a link to a Bethesda website. Everyone says they released these screenshots but WHERE!? (Not that I doubt the... officialness of the shots I just like getting things straight from the source.

But I guess PCGamer is good enough. At least they don't stick their shitty watermark on everything (*cough*IGN*cough).

I guess they just released the screens to game journalist sites exclusively... for some reason.
On the topic of Bethesda's official website though, I want like ninety of these things.

I don't usually go crazy over collecatble toys, but something about this is absurdly cute to me.

Still sad it's not Obsidian behind it. :(

Can't find any reason to play TES: Fallout that Bethesda going to do again.

I'm playing Bethesda's games for really long time and I know what they can and can't do. I played all games in TES series and like them as unique open world experience and great platform for mods. Played Morrowind and Oblivion the most, but Skyrim isn't bad too.

Unfortunately this studio unable to deliver games with interesting story lines and characters while it's all Fallout series is about for me. This isn't going to change because TES audience don't care about those unimportant parts of gameplay.

So no doubt it's will be another "TES with guns" just like Fallout 3.

I'm sure they've had the exact same stuff for all these years.

I'm not a massive Fallout fan, but the response online of [certain YouTubers and Journalists] saying it looks dated REALLY annoys me somehow. The graphics aren't fantastic but then, most trailers nowadays for games of this budget almost -refuse- to show actual ingame visuals - and who the hell plays a Bethesda game anyway for the visuals and doesn't install like the SHINIEST ENBs?

    People with mid/low-end machines.

I wouldn't say it looks bad. But the fidelity isn't exactly jaw-dropping. But that's better than saying amazing fidelity and having the game look "eh" *stares at Watch Dogs*. I'm happy that the game has ACTUAL COLOUR. Seriously, find a sky-blue ANYTHING in F3 or NV. It's not there. F3 has The Matrix filter and NV has the "used coffee filter" filter.

I actually got into a bit of a spat with someone on Youtube when they pointed out that in the scene where the angry people attack the camera in the supermarket, the paper on one of the ceiling signs is misaligned with the sign itself. I pointed out that this was proof that they're not trying to shovel BS but the internet is never happy.

    "It'll look **** on launch!"

    or

"It looks **** and can't possibly improve!"

People pay WAAAAAY too much attention to technical fidelity of graphics than actual style. This seems like Bethesda finally realising that they don't have the -best- looking visuals in the past, so they're adding more colour on top of things to at least look much more pleasant.

Oops. I'd wanna say that I didn't played Skyrim as much as previous games mainly because I didn't have as much time to play in general. Morrowind is still my favorite, but Oblivion and Skyrim aren't bad.

In same time I wouldn't say that Skyrim is better because Oblivion had multiple things that give me warm and fuzzy feeling inside are missing. E.g door unlock mini-game.

I found the Fallout gameplay somewhat repetitive. Go everywhere. Click everything. Use all dialog options. Offer everyone to help with whatever. Get fed story as a reward. It feels like watching a movie except it's work. Are there any RPGs that don't do this?

Not really heh, that's kind of a part of the experience I'd say tbh.. xD

It's an interactive movie! Where your choices change the game pretty signicantly. Characters will act differently around you, whole factions, and even the story pans out slightly differently at the climax.

    More news about Fallout 4!

    • Fallout 4 is the most detailed dense environment Bethesda has made to date. The world is so detailed even Todd Howard says he hasn't seen everything
    • Fallout 4's story has more branching paths and more "If that than this" scenarios than FO3.
    • FO4 has a full weather system that sends radiation storms across the wasteland
    • Bethesda is changing the way auto-scaling works. Certain areas may not be enterable right away becuase the enemies will be so tough. " you will run into stuff that will crush you, and you will have to run away" Todd Howard
    • The gunship is new, but there will not be cars
    • Dogmeat will not be killed off in a cruel fashion
    • When you play a modded version, the game will make a copy of your pure version so you can still have a preserved pure game.
    • Fallout 4 has 400 hours worth of content
    • And Skyrim had infinite quests.
