I don´t expect any changes to building or weapon sounds to be honest.
While I don´t think they are great they are sufficent.
There are definitely more important things atm.

You see you are exactly proving my point. You are raging at a simple question directed at the developers without any evil intent whatsoever, asking to leave them alone and that the person who asked the question is clueless.
I wonder if you ever wondered why there are so few people on the forums...

Well to be fair you did say the devs have "ignored" people, which I assure you is not the case.

The developers I feel may just be happy with how the sounds are, they take everything into consideration, but may feel like the like how the sounds are. It could be possible they don't want epic rattling TA explosions, but instead opt for the gleeful sounds of bots running around with fizzles and gentle booms across the area.

Edit: He got a little miffed because you insulted him, just please don't throw around the "fanboy" term, it's similar to your opposition calling you a "troll". You two just have opinions on opposite sides.

I could call almost everyone in here a fanboy including me and ace.
I mean heck I backed the game back in the day and would do it again because I belive in UBER´s vision.
The people that still come to the forum care about it in one way or another (well maybe not blightedmythos).

The thing is UBER has only so much time and to be quiet frank still a couple of rather big things down the line.
So most things/suggestions won´t have that much of a priority due to limited work capacity.

because the game is stagnant and both sides getting and throwing flag at eachother ...
and i am not raging at a simple question ... not raging at all ... can you here me screaming from what i have written?
also you were the one who called me a fanboy, what does that help with anything? what does me suposely proving your point help you with the developers or the game? ... do you think any of this ensures that you get what you wish?

all i said in the end is that your simple question getting answered doesn´t matter as it won´t realy help you ..
it´s just a confirmationquestion and nothing more ..
they say a word ... ok and? words are not prove that things are getting done they are done when they are simply done ... in that case i would consider myself even more critical than you actualy as i don´t care for words but for what i can see in the game .. when they say they are working on galactic war after x has been done isn´t a reason for me to jump up from my chair in a victorypose or rockpose .. i do that when it is done, workin and well functioning ..
so i rather let them do their work, do their announcments and take feedback when asked for than bombarding them with questions just to satisfy my curiosity needs ..

in the end of the day we both want the same ... the game to be good and thriving as well as uber not getting the end of the short stick ..

"the road to hell is paved with good intensions"

i rather like to call us supporters than fanatic boys (or girls)

For this specific issue: This is what we would need to solve these problems on our own. To get finally rid of all these assets-related issues we currently have.

It's not even like it would mean any significant amount of work to provide that. It's just a simple decision to open up, from the devs side.

The problem is less devs ignoring our cases, most of them are actually reacting or even just replying at some point. But it does require more than just a handful of individual users to speak up for a certain feature. And definitely more than just a few likes.

So get up, spread the word on your concerns among the community (and don't forget that Steam part of the community, the forum over there is even more active than this one!), and get supporters for your cause. Get more people to get involved with the issues, to give your cause more significance. And KEEP them involved.
