I assumed it was the Steam controller that tunsel11 was talking about.

I did today, in both games it did not use T2 though, it did however expand very well and gave me proper T1 resistance.

It won't use T2 unless it's winning since teching will lose you a 1v1 most of the time. It doesn't have a good handle on when to tech in a FFA though.

Why on earth would you want to use a controller?

It's wholly inferior to a mouse for pointing at things, which is all you do in an RTS and an FPS.

I usually like to pick on things told that were and the game and didn't end up being so (because I totally remember Mavor saying that he plans to have steam controller support), but in this case its the right decision. Controllers are entirely useless for this kind of game and a waste of developer resources.
    Good call.

Thanks, I will be sure to highlight this on GamingOnLinux.com, as I keep seeing people claim it's too unstable on Linux.

A Controller for a RTS game? Gtfo.

SupCom2 had that, and look how bad that game is :p

No one wants PA to be bad ya know :p

Yeah, here is an example of using an (early) Steam controller with Dota 2.

Not really an RTS, but close. It seems to work(ish), but for PA it may be a bit much.

Surely something like a Steam controller could be mapped to PA anyway without Uber having to do anything, if you *really* want to use it that badly.

That said, if you want to play PA on the couch on TV (I do sometimes), then get yourself a wifi keyboard with built in track pad. It's a bit slow for playing seriously but fine for a game against the AI- and is supported by default :)

    An example:

I'm assuming with the work on Resume anywhere, that the bugs in Chrono-Cam are going to be ironed out in replays and live games?

Do you have a list of Chrono Cam bugs? I can have them take a look at the list :)

The one I was thinking of would be when opening up chronocam it would semi-open it with the UI all over the place but not fully load - I have been out of the game for a while so I'm not sure if that one has been sorted yet. But that was my only one :)

The only thing I know is the game crashing when scrolling with time too much. Only when you use use the slider rapidly.

When activating chrono cam, the Eco values for me and the enemy do not update. They seem to be frozen to the values right at the end of the game.

I am not sure how to reproduce, since it happens about 50% of the time. If I were to guess though, it might be an issue with not waiting for the game to end properly to view chrono cam.
