Voted for you mate, saw it on FB before here though! Unfortunately vote wise you don't seem to be in the running, but it's good exposure for you I guess, and shows that you've got a pitch together.

As you mentioned on Facebook, you really need to re-record the video. Its ok and does the job, but I don't think it does you any favours. If I were in your shoes, I'd be doing that asap, building together a good plan and presentation materials, and pitching to angel investors and venture capitalists and the like. You might well be doing this already!

Best of luck with the project. When you get it going, I will expect a few free drinks and a tour, in return for promoting the crap out of it hehe

Yeah, the video does have some serious shortcomings - the main barrier to a re-record right now is that the fellow sitting next to me currently lives up in north Scotland, while I'm down here in sunny(!) Essex. That's one of the time constraints I mentioned - and also one of the reasons we had to use less-than-ideal hardware to do the recording... and that we didn't have time to do a better take.

We've got some fairly advanced plans in the works - this is primarily a marketing thing and if we did manage to get a few hundred more votes, getting a shot at the potential prize of a significant marketing budget isn't to be sniffed at. I'm still hopeful: trying to get something pushed through with some of the gaming media which could generate some significant extra exposure if we can manage it.
