Yes. You convert the key to a Steam Key. It's a permanent conversion, however.

Why permanent? If you got the steam version you can still use the launcher like you did before you had the steamkey

Yeah, but it's permanently connected to Steam. I would've upgraded my pre-order, but I would've had to buy again because I converted.

It probably doesn't make any difference now though.

Yeah, you do. That's all you need. In fact, you can buy PA on Steam and than never bother with Steam again by just using the UberLauncher.

But I think what websterx01 is talking about is switching between the different packages available on the Uber Store and those on Steam. The Cosmic edition, and Deluxe, and all that sort of stuff. And even that doesn't matter anymore. And like websterx01 said, those were only different during pre-release. They're the same now too.

Ah like that, now the only upgrade is the deluxe edition, but it can still be bought on both sides for the commanders and OST to activate on your profile

When the deluxe upgrade is bought on Uber, you cannot switch it to steam though, it would have no difference since it is just linked to your playfab profile.

I bought the upgrade on Ubers website, but wanted it on steam as well. So I bought it a second time on steam to complete my collection with 80% discount at a sale
