a megaton of my old forum posts depend on these old links, I haven't figured out whether i'll go through the trouble of editing even half of these posts

I dont know about that, I've sent pictures and videos through dropbox to my boyfriend and stuff sometimes. Thats also where some of my pics here have come from. XP

The difference is that you send your stuff to specific persons. Tatsujb sends it to the whole internet. (anyone ≠ everyone)

Additionally, 51 of the 172 posts in the "Speak with pictures alone" thread alone are by tatsujb (though not always with Dropbox pics), so... I think it would be accurate to say you use it somewhat less. (and arguably more in line with Dropbox' ads, despite what tatsujb claims)

what I meant by that is that sharing a file the size of a video gets you cap banned 100% guaranteed.

For perspective : I get cap banned for sharing memes.

I'm pretty sure you hit the 100,000 downloads per day cap and not the 20 GiB per day one.
