...what would it be? But what do i mean with that? Basically...i think we all know the similar games, right? Games where each faction has a different building style, different Superweapon styles, gunfire etc. I dont know TA, never played it myself, i only know this digital-summoning thingy. SupCom: UEF carved from a block of Energy, Cybran used Drones and Lasers to build, Aeon used a Nanite Blob StarCraft: Terran unfold buildings, Protoss uses a wormhole thingy, Zerg use some kind of organic egg. just to name a few. or to mention a few Mods i have seen here, Heart Nukes, Rainbow Spawns etc. Funny stuff without a real use. So, if there would be an option to buy different animations through microtransaction, what would you use? From the mentioned examples, i think i liked the UEF carving the most, even though i played mostly Aeon and prefered the style and philosophy of Cybran. Another Animation i would use would be a more devestating Nuke effect...like a Singularity for example.
i think you dont understand what i meant. our factions here are purely lore-wise, and all we can change is our commander. so it was about the "feeling" that you could be different from another commander and not just another copy in a different color. the arsenal would stay the same, no faction specific stuff, just the way to change animations like a clientside mod, but show it to other players online. you could not just change the commander, but also the way how things are build, how your superweapons and other special effects look like - without gaining any advantage. hope it was more clear now.
I really like the standard animation set, it feels very "grippy"... ...however, I wouldn´t mind purchaseable nuke-animations! They could be pretty funny! (especially a troll-face-nuke would probably become VERY popular! )
