Whenever I try to make a system with normal planets in the current version of the system designer and try to edit the radius or anything else (like water coverage or seed) of a planet, the game automaticaly sets the radius to 1000 and I can't make it smaller. Does any one else have this problem? I havent had this problem earlier.
I've never had this problem but I do know that saving CSG is bugged. If you advance edit the planet, make sure the blue boxes are unselected before you save the system.
I tried some stuff , and browsed through the forum and now know that it does this when i allready have gas giant in the system before adding the smaller planets.
This bug has been around for a while and it really makes me sad. The system editor will set the minimum radius of all planets to the same as the minimum radius of the largest planet you have put down (seemingly at random) Gas giants have a minimum radius of 1000, which is why other planets then end up having that as a minimum radius. One workaround is to save the system, exit the editor and then load it up again. As long as you don't click on the gas giant, you should be able to shrink the other planets. Sometimes it takes a try or two.
One of the best parts of the game system editor and I cant even save my systems. Uber you guys need to get on the ball and fix this please. I press save system and it does nothing. Then when I try to leave it says save planet, discard ,cancel. Save planet also does nothing. I have a starting spots clicked and nothing in the red. This is a huge deal to me for pa.
So, there is a process to save correctly but just download this mod for now https://forums.uberent.com/threads/wip-map-system-editor-fixes.68511/
