    Build 80187 4/07/15

    Balance:

    Commander
    - Build Arm Energy Demand decreased to 1750 from 2000

    Bugfix/Polish:

    - Fix for known Galactic War issue: lost connection to server
    - Updated AI neural net data
    - AI pathing improvements
    - General unit pathing improvements
    - Fix for chronocam vision after game has ended
    - Fix for save game filenames
    - Fix dynamic alliance
    - Updated AI land neural net data
    - Updated AI air neural net data
    - Fix to how AI expands to other planets
    - Fix for units not being able to assist factories building submarines
    - Fix for AI build items that do not require either energy or metal
    - Fix for AI economy calculation with teleporters
    - Local Galactic War save/load (first pass, will only work on local games, not playfab)
    --Start a new, local Galactic War and play
    --Select ESC to bring up menu options
    --Select Save Game (Beta) and Yes to save game
    --Select Quit to surrender and exit to the desktop (Abandon War will not work to save game)
    --When you return to Galactic War, your game will be listed under the Active Wars tab
    --Select your game and Go To War
    --An option to either Restart or Continue your saved game will be available

    Except still cant change commanders when steam is in offline mode when doing a new Galatic war.....

    I still had this after my first game in this new stable build... I sort of comes up, but only partly and no buttons as it did before. I should have made a screen shot in retrospect, but I didn't realize it was supposed to have been fixed.

    I am unable repro this bug. There are still issues where the UI fails to load, but this can happen to any of the UI scenes... which is unfortunate but not related to this fix.

    If there is still an issue related to end game vision, I will need a repro case before it can be resolved.

    1. Start an online game vs AI on styx
    2. Alt F4 PA before the spawn is selected
    3. Reconnect
    4. select spawn and start
    5. Commander is invisible

    In fact I think I've not been able to see anything after a reconnect at all.
    Not exactly "end game" vision, but certainly a vision bug.

    I like this update. Content updates are always better, but this is a good update despite popular opinion or Justin Beiber fandom...

    Hmm, could be. I've played a few test games vs the AI now of less than a minute and now it seems to work fine. The game where it didn't work was longer than an hour with much lag and many units. I forgot to mention that this was with Linux. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out. Maybe it was a fluke.

    Speaking of cams, has anyone else had a problem where you cannot see any of the units and game-play while watching a replay?

    Also, does anyone know where I can get the most recent version of the PA model importer? sorry for the off topicness, it just seems to quiet....

    I would love it if you can just hit Enter after game finishes and start chatting with the player(from ranked match). But that doesn't seem to work it seems like the only way to chat is to go to chronocam, maybe I'm wrong. That seems highly unintuitive.

    Found a bug:

    I am pretty sure this has actually been around for ages, but here goes:

    Step 1: After commander lands, press control to see attack range (range circle should be red)
    Step 2: Issue an area build command for metal extractor with the commander
    Step 3: Press control again to see commander weapon range, the circle is now another lighter color.

    It seems like the various circle commands sort overlap and changes the colors that way?

    Another behaviour:

    Step 1: Observe there is something wrong with the commanders attack range circle color by holding ctrl.
    Step 2: Start issuing an area attack command for the commander (while still holding control).
    Step 3: Notice that when you drag enough for an attack circle to appear, the commander's attack range circle changes color again. For the attack command it is red.

    That´s nice, had that bug several times but did never get to the repro... :oops:
    Anyways, a question: Are there any plans to implement InGameReconnecting? Closing the game for reconnecting seems odd to me in general! o_O (and the workaround via spectator merging is even more odd!)

    I've been waiting on this update! Woo, I shall play again tonight :) Not been been playing for a few weeks for various reasons, some of them PA related - it does get to be a bit of a chore, relearning the meta with each update that has balance changes. Can't wait when the meta/balance settles. Saying that, it is kind of fun to play a game all the way from alpha to its final form, and seeing all the changes and funny bugs along the way. I hope other games I have Kickstarted are just as fun.

    Thanks for all of your hard work Uber, and thanks to @jables for keeping the community informed. It is great to see the updates coming regularly.

    Anyone want to play some 1v1 games with me tonight?! I'm a bit rusty ;)
