Late game my UI breaks, (unit icons disappear and reappear sporadically, as well as the 3d models of units and low tier buildings). This happens earlier when t2 is out earlier and becomes more of a problem as more advanced buildings are built. Nukes make it pretty much impossible to play. Rebooting the UI or the whole client generally fixes the problem for about 15 seconds, or zooming out to the orbital layer and back to ground layer can temporarily fix it as well. I have up to date drivers on an intel integrated graphics card, I'm running windows 7.
Any ideas how to fix/workaround this issue?
    Thanks.

Can you post a DxDiag.txt? Press <WinKey>+R, type "dxdiag", and press "Save All Information...". Upload the resulting file to this forum using the "Upload a File" button here.

Well, this is probably your problem:
Your drivers seem to be almost four years old. You can get the latest from the Intel website:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24696/Intel-HD-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-8-1-64-bit

Try the .exe first. It will probably complain about "not validated". If that is the case, download the .zip instead and follow these instructions:

I will try that. Thank you.

Yeah, that's laptops for you. You were updating to the latest HP drivers, and laptop manufacturers don't like to update their drivers. The 2011 ones are likely the latest that HP provides...

I just did a demo game with x5 eco. Unit Icons and most unit models started flickering at 7 minutes, 1 minute after T2 came out. They were completely rekt by minute 10.
Updating the drivers *did* fix the circles not being displayed for area commands and turret ranges. I didn't even know that was broken, I thought it was a mod o_O

Well, getting closer at least. :)
Do you have any software on this list?

It's a list of software known to cause trouble with PA.

I have norton 360. I made sure PA.exe and CoherentUI_Host.exe were set to "allowed" not "auto" and I still have the issue.

Also I'm not allowed to post the link in you posted in a quote..? lol

Heh, new users can't post links until they hit five posts (which you just did).

But Norton wouldn't cause graphics artifacts. I was hoping for something like FRAPS.

I've seen several people on this forum successfully run PA on HD3000's as you have, so it should work. Can you make a new DxDiag.txt to see if maybe something went wrong with the driver update?

Also, can you make a screenshot? I'm curious to see what it looks like for you. You can use the Upload a File button to post them.
