T2 orbital fighters and Subs missing from my game

Back at the end of january Uber released and update saying that we now have subs and planetary fighter (phoenixes) but try as i might i can't seem to find them anywhere in game. I'm fully updated, heck i update nearly weekly. I have all the UI changes they speak of. Could someone explain to me why i cant find these units? Are we ever going to get to use them?

Subs are in both naval factories and the advanced fighter is a T2 fighter in the T2 air factory.
The descriptions for the units should tell you which one is which.

They may not be available to you in Galactic War if that is the game mode you are playing. All units are available in Skimish.

if you are playing galactic war you may need to collect the technologydata for it first ... in multiplayer and ai skirmish they are available in the naval factories and advanced aircraftfactory

That being said: Don't play galactic war unless you really like reading the lore about specific planets. The gameplay of galactic wars is identical to that of a skirmish or multilayer except AI is either brain-dead or it has cheating enabled and you have less units.

as you can see i have no subs and no T2 fighters, as i stated earlier. Any idea why??? I have tried with and without mods numerous times. from left to right you can see the naval fab, narwahl, destroyer, and the scouting naval unit. from air you can see T2 fab, T2 gunship, T2 bomber, and transport. No subs, no T2 orbital. Just like i said before. So i guess i should reword my question to this. Why is my game saying it is fully updated when i am so obviously missing content that has been added months ago?

also these shots are taken from a skirmish. Multiplayer lan is no different.

I'm redownloading and reinstalling the game. I didn't really want to do this because at 1.5 megabit it takes forever and a day. but ill post back here if that fixes it.

Just had a thought, are you playing with a server mod perhaps?

That´s certainly not the regular interface---> cycle all changes you made back and you´ll have these two units!

Alternatively, you can run PA with --nomods. That will prevent PA from loading any mods at all.
