    On PTE AI built SXX and sniped my commander, we were on same planet thought but he also sent stuff to another planet.

    Ugh AI true king of multi-tasking, players cant do 2 things at once....SORIAN PLZ NERF!

    Also does the AI utilize unit cannons and pelicans, because you dont see them use it

    It doesnt even utilize submarines like the patch notes stated in PTE...then again its very poor in Navy section, it likes to get 1-2 naval factories on an only water planet. And gets up to like 100 aircraft that just sit in the base even if nearby orca's are bombarding the AI.

    The AI just hasn't gotten the hang of layer interaction and the concept of hard counters (yet). That however is currently work in progress, so it might actually improve in the near future.

    I had gotten the AI pinned down to a small area of the planet and my economy was gaining unstoppable momentum, when out of nowhere the AI pulls out a bomber snipe. It caught me off guard because they had not been pushing air, just hiding it in their base. I barely managed to scramble my fighters in time. Love this AI.

    I've mentioned before how the north and south AIs on Forge will play in consistent patterns which differ from one another (south expands to the middle, north expands to the east). Well, I've noticed the same thing on Pacific. The southern AI will reliably take all the metal on its island, but the northern AI seems to have real trouble grabbing anything more than one island metal spot, often ignoring those on its west coast until much later.

    I'm going to have to look at the other maps and see if there's a consistent southern advantage or something :)

    All I get from the Absurd AI on Pacific is a vehicle factory on the starting island.

    Nothing that can't be fixed through modified AI personalities. There's already a UI mod for this by wondible (called AI Personalities) and I'm creating one for Queller as well.

    Sorian, what's the reasoning behind the build blocks where the AI checks whether it needs a factory, finds that it doesn't, and so makes the decision to build it?

    False, in this case, means whether to respect the basic to advanced factory ratio setting. Yeah, I know, it isn't obvious. I still want to do some documentation for the AI, but got sidetracked with neural networks.

    Was playing Galactic War. AI several times has walked far distances to build metal extractors and then walked a further distance before building Power Gen and Air Fab. This long time before any real build up has made battles totally one sided as I manage to attack with a force before it can even really build any force to oppose me.

    AI is on Normal.

    No offense, but if the AI is on normal then I really don't care. Normal is heavily nerfed, especially on the early GW battles which makes it do incredibly stupid things. This is by design.
