I think the guy just looks so invincible because he is running around on a map against bots to show off his awesome strafes. You can hardly do runs like this in an actual match (there still is a nice flow in the movement though), but it's theoretically possible, which is part of what makes the game so awesome imo.
I watched WAY too many 400% skilled airshot TF2 videos the other night You know, the ones that are ALL Propane Nightmares
Just played 3 hours of Cities: Skylines. I LOVE IT! Here's my city: For reference the hospital is in front of the big empty field. That big empty lot with the four wind turbines got turned into a commercial district about five minutes later: People live here: And here's my raw sewage! The fun part is you can see this big dark streak in the water when you zoom out. Also somewhere on one of my farms is a pig named Sir Bacon: Because you can do that. The only real issue I have with it so far is that the number of different buildings is a bit too low so you start seeing a lot of clones. But that's a simple fix, albeit time-consuming. Even if they don't, MODS!
Not pictured: The forestry district where water is starting to encroach onto the land because of that dam I built.
I haven't gotten around to playing the Castle Assault PnP, but I'm thinking of throwing it into Tabletop Sim at some point. Should be easy since it's already in an image format.
Gah! I'm bored! Gotta get something new and fresh! I'm tempted to buy Subnautica, or maybe Depth... I DUNNO! D:
Stardrive 2 out this week, looking forward to that. @Geers Loving cities skyline, some of the mods are amazing, its a great chill out game. I've also started playing space engineers again.
I am trying so hard not to get that game yet. It looks really cool! Oh! 4A Games makes good FPS games-- Metro 2033 (first) and Metro Last Light and the Stalker trilogy. Both feel post-apocalyptic, but only Metro actually is. Metro is very linear while Stalker is open world.
Played it to death. Played it to death. Don't really like it. Cannot be assed unlocking everything all over again.
they'll still forever be less involving than an RTS. I don't see how anything could ever be any more involving than how involving RTSes get at a good and above level.
I want to be in the middle of the action, not watching it via satellite. Or magic flaming eye of a dark lord if its a fantasy RTS.
