Hey guys! I have terrible lag. It takes 1-5 seconds once I issue a command, even when first starting. I've been googling for hours. I've followed all of the basic solutions that were posted. My system: i7 4710 16gb ram Nvidia 970m I have the game installed on a 1tb drive. I've tried 2 internet connections. First one, wi-fi, 15mps/11mps, ping 30. Second, wired, 8mps/2mps, ping 80. I've dropped the settings to the lowest. And tried all the basic troubleshooting on the internet. Drivers are up to date.
When in-game, you can press <Ctrl>+P to cycle through all of the performance settings. What values do you get for the fps for the client, server, and sim? Does this only occur on multiplayer, or also on AI Skirmish and Galactic War? Also, what OS are you on? You are a wise man. I never found that page during my googling. I had gamefirst installed. Once uninstalled everything seems to be working!
