Really, that seems silly to point the fan toward the floor... but alright. XD

Your case should have legs keeping it off the floor - it just blows the heat out of the case.

Also see my edit on the previous post.

I love how everyone says to flip the PSU but don't even mention the fact that the side is open and lying on the floor (okay leaning against a case)

The PSU is by far the hottest bit in the case.

if you wanna have lower temperatures, don't allow the air from the PSU's case to mix with the air of your computer case.

Air comes in air comes out :

and never meddles with the air in your case.

ocf if the PSU was top-mounted I would make an exception.
as it would help the air evacuate even better :

you can get cheap feet, and drill holes then screw em in.

you can also make makeshift feet.

    IDK your call...

The fact that it's sitting on carpet is probably the only issue. There should be a fan grill on the bottom for the PSU to suck in air. Right now, you're sucking up GPU heat, which while it isn't bad, it's not great for its life span. If the PSU is loose even though you screwed it in, it's probably just a slightly smaller one; I've had the opposite issue and had to really squeeze before.

Edit: side panels aren't important! Mine end up lying all over and getting scratched of it don't screw them in.

@squishypon3 that is a lot of dust. Get the vacuum cleaner this PC needs a good cleaning. EDIT: oh you said it too. (don't use wipes or anything humid! the goal is not to get it shiny and sparkling clean it's the get rid of the real mothballs and thickness in dust.)

    Also there ARE feet.

Also ooooohhh america and your love for carpets.

You could tell it was america in the picture I posted just because of the carpet all on it's own. x'D

Don't put the case down on the carpet. Get a wooden plank to put in between it and the carpet.

NO - use a compressed air blower thingy. Vacuums can kill PCs :(

Nah most of the house has hard woods, and I watch a ton of house hunters, nobody likes carpets anymore.

My room used to be a media room, so that may be why carpets.
