I took out a comm with levellers over the weekend. Talk about dying super fast. Once they were in range it was like he was a slightly tank bolo or something.
A combat fabber that can throw up AA turrets in a pinch, effectively giving bots AA? My guess is you've never run into a pinch where this saved your butt.
As well as teleporters. As well as anti-land turrets. This makes it incredibly powerful to fire from a unit cannon. Where it lands, you can build a line of fortifications that can be a very powerful pain against an enemy. The enemy having to take the time to build pelters to break it down, cost them just as great a resource and attention span to take care of it.
Or you could be the logical turtle, and build a Sheller Army With Extra Dox On The Side. Which would cost less metal and trade better in the long run. But who's met a logical turtle? I haven't. Logical turtles are the ones launching Unit Cannons.
Metal Style, DOUBLE WALL JUTSU!.... Sorry, just a little late to the Naruto party, but what trophy said. You can build a whole (decoy) fortification somewhere within a minute with the critter.
Yeah it isn't logical turtle, it is suprise turtle. That jerk can build a teleporter too, making the sheller army able to teleport to it randomly and unable to stop with turret support. Then, you turret creep with it.
They have removed te ability for combat fabers to build walls, which will really stop the silliness we saw earlier (grenadiers+combat fabs)
Not really silliness. Besides, walls are shoot throughable with any unit now as long as friendly wall. Besides, grenadiers got range buff so really they are the anti-wall and not the wall-abuser. Besides, grenadiers getting a buff would make them really op with walls when a mild nerf to grenadiers could have left walls alone.
The way you did it is to spam grenadiers and commander/combat fab rush early game You'd spam walls with the commander and Cfab while walking right into their base and setting up a teleporter nearby with the fabber. The walls will stop anything but grenadiers doing damage, and your grenadiers means that if the enemy built walls with their commander, you'd just shoot over them anyway. Since it's early game, any bombers the enemy sends to take out your grenadiers would be taken out by your commander Basically if you didn't take a gren only army and the enemy did, and it was a small map, the enemy would win because it would turn into a wall spam fight and they would win
