Haha, 50 cents is a decent amount for a 20% chance.

I won btw, the team forfeit because of DDOSes. Sucks that happened, but I got 2$ payout. ;P

This is what happens when a scene revolves around a betting system that's legal to minors.

Eh, I only know the "Five dollar" tune. Which they don't even use in Australia.

Wait you get a payout for a bet on a game that basically failed to be played correctly due to DDOS attacks?

Yeah, okay so they had a whole explanation.

The esports group is worried that if DDOSes didn't count then people who are losing will simply DDOS so they dont lose their bets, and not DDOS if they're winning.

So either way I guess it just ends up the same, DDOSers win. A match can be put on hold for a couple days afaik but the other team just opted to forfeit. (They probably would have won though, they had 4 or 5 rounds won playing terrorist on Nuke! (A counter-terrorist sided map) before the swap out. (After 15 rounds team's swap.

Basically people bet on DDOSes, not on the game. And the esports organization blames the players because they don't have sufficient protection against attacks. (A VPN or something, idk)

It is REALLY sad when a game is played by attacking the systems the game is played on, not in the game itself.

Any game that is hit by such an attack should be replayed. Anything else is retarded.

Normally it would be, but the other team forfeit, they could have done it later but the team said they didn't want to dance around the DDOSes.
