Seriously, fix the ******* Join Game button

This is the shittiest bug ever.
I click join game, and nothing happens. WTF.

can't reproduce, though I have faster server browser enabled. Do you have that mod? It might help

Vulagarities dont make the process any faster, 30 dev team- all focused on certain things.

I'd suggest talking to the right devs as you can almost certainly get a response if you ping them.

This very likely is not a simple UI issue. Probably more a load issue on the servers. Though it is weird that really nothing happens at all. I've not seen the issue myself more than maybe one or two times, so can't debug it :/

I've had this happen. Often just after loading the game, I click about the place and it makes the *bong* noise, but nothing happens. Then a minute of two later I will find I've just joined one of those lobbies.

Haven't tested enough to know how to reproduce it, I'll pay more attention next time it happens.

For me it improved quite a lot with (I think the 2nd latest patch). There are just a few of this broken lobbies where the spot seems to be blocked by a crashed player, but for all the normal lobbies I can join now even with a terrible slow net connection of 2mbit.

This has happened to me recently as well. The only mod I have is PA Stats.

This happens to me _all_ the time.
And I have the faster browser mod installed.. Makes no difference in my experience.

I have a theory now.. as things have improved for me since I installed the optimise user tag mod and run it.
I think we have a lot of trouble connecting to games while the client is still enumerating all of the user tags.

Yeah it happens quite often, sometimes it actually joins after 1 minute or so.
It could be related to the bugged last open slot issue, but I have had it on servers where 2 or more slots were still open.
Refreshing / returning to the main menu does not help. Never tried restarting the game yet.

At least you can play. I get opengl error now after 5 minutes that crash to desktop.

Not big on the f bomb drop in the title to get a point across either.

Opengl error? Do you use Intel HD by chance I know they have issues with OpenGL. (Or used to, idk about now) Mind looking for the log? =)

What mods do you have installed. Its probably a mod messing with that. I'm only using faster server browser, pa stats better system view, and system sharing. Faster server browser usually fixes that problem.

I've been running wireshark (hoping to see something interesting) for the last few hours while I play and of course it's worked every time ... I think the clean user tag thing is awesome if that's the fix.

Nope 680 gtx sli (disabled with PA).

I get a crash to desktop with a error message about nvidia and opengl. I've already submited logs.
