Racism, sexism, etc... Are all illegal in the UK, as well as bits of the European Union. If Uber chooses to use said rules there is no reason to argue, but of course we all assume everything should be like the good ol' USA. =P

Uber's an American company, they do not have to respect European laws, only European players.

They don't need to respect US laws either within the game, they can set up whatever rules and regulations they want. Just like any private company in the US.

Is a librarian asking you to keep it down in the library going against your freedom of speech or expression?

I disagree, they have to respect every law from every country they make business or their games may be forbidden in those countries. I'm sure my country would do so if the allowed users to use photos of nude children in their profiles independently of the laws in the USA.
So you don't like threats but you like calling names and slandering. I don't think that's what most people in this community think. You are restricted by the laws in your country and then the EULA.

Rights aren't the same as laws exactly. Think of games that feature swastikas, said games are edited for Germany, as the use of the swastika in Germany is illegal (even the Bhudist swastika!)

However you have no rights in the game, as it's owned by a private company; I'd only argue you do have right if you host your own server.

U.S. companies need to respect U.S. laws, that's why you have to agree to the EULA, if the company wants to set up its own rules, a EULA must be made and agreed to by the customer. A library does not require me to sign anything, that's why they can't prosecute me if I yell in the library.

Out of a public library? They can probably ask me to leave, but they can't kick me out.

No, they have to respect the laws of the countries where they make business (swastika is a good example).

What you say is nonsense, it doesn't matter where the company is from if they break the law in a country they will be prosecuted (google in China). That's all from me about law.
Just treat people everywhere as if we were all were grown up persons. And if someone is so immature to offend a random guy because of a game I don't want to play with him and I'll appreciate a way to prevent it.

And none of this applies, because Uber's EULA says they are not responsible for online interactions, so even if Uber decided to allow harassment, they could not be prosecuted.
