Nuking gas giants: No longer possible?

    When did this change? I remember you used to be able to... Why was it changed? How might one mod it back in?

    idk, there is probably a line of code for nuke launchers that allows or disallows them to target the orbital layer. That's just a guess, though.

    Allowing the nuke launcher to target the orbital layer does nothing, I've tried... :(

    Yeah, targeting the gas planet itself hasn't worked for a while, but you could still target individual units. That doesn't seem to be working anymore either. I tried every possible way to attack, but alas.

    Interestingly, or at least oddly, in my testing a nuke would often refuse to fire at a normal planet after being targeted at a gas giant. Especially if I tried to give it an area command attack on the gas giant. If I hit stop on the launcher and retargeted it would fire at a normal planet again.

    Maybe there is something else blocking firing at gas giants, because it did seem to be accepting the command, just not completing it.
