Personally I have quit using the tracker because it does not look like it's being used by Uber. So why use it? I'm not the only one who has this perception. A way it could be dealt with is by Uber stomping some bugs and having it be visible on the tracker. Or a bug bash like Introversion was once a while for Prison Architect something like these would definitely help. There is open issues on it from Alpha like FS#32 were sound still plays when the game is pause which does not affect PA anymore. There are other examples as well.:)

Edit: I just asked if FS#32 can be close.

Yeah, Uber has their own internal bug tracker as far as I know. I still use the public bug tracker to report bugs though as it's a good organized repository of known problems and also workarounds in some cases. It's still useful for the community.

But yeah, the best way to report bugs it to watch the forum like a hawk and when a new PTE is released be the first to post. :)

And yeah, old bugs stay open until reported as fixed. :)

It is not the sense I got from the thread on the bug tracker. Especially when it's quotes like this:
I really don't see the point of having a bug repository and just reporting all bugs on the forum. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a central bug repository. :)

Pretty sure some of devs does checked community bug tracker in the past and @mkrater too for sure.
Though they're not moderate it and you not likely will see them confirm/close tasks there.

It's can't be closed at least because it's not fixed (on Linux at least).
If you press stop on ChronoCam walking sound still play. o_O

This might be true but I don't see the activity so not my perception.;)
I don't see how pausing the game and then sound effects still playing our related to ChronoCam sound issue on Linux?

Yeah, well, as you can see I am confused about the proper bug reporting method as well. :)

I just use the repository because I see uses for it. Like I said, it's more organized and the voting shows how common that bug is. And apparently they do still look at it, which I didn't know. So I'll just keep posting bugs there. I'll still flag mkrater or jables in a thread about a particular issue. Or if it's an area in which I know a dev is working, then I'll flag that dev. As long as the bugs are known, I'm happy.

Sadly it's community bug tracker so there really need someone from community to keep activity on it. Wish I have more time to do this, but real life not always leave time to do that.

Though public bug tracker is still really useful to track problems that didn't get attention on forums or just too small or unimportant to fix them here and now. Eventually I'll have time to submit them or it's may be useful to developers once they have time on small and less unimportant issues.

Basically when this task were created there was no "pause" feature in PA at all. So it's task about the ChronoCam "stop" button.

I don't report bugs because I'm a slow f***er and every bug I see has already been reported.

Yes it's a bit confusing. It also discourages people from a bug report.:(
Just because it's a community bug tracker does not mean Uber should not be using it. It's the exact opposite they should be done.;)
    Fair enough.:)
