Why dose the game run 7 processes on the computer? most game us 1-3 i think? processes: 6x CoherentUI_Host.exe*32 (Coherent UI - A modern user interface libary for games) 15k-90k kb/each 1x PA.exe (PA) So why is there 6 of CoherentUI_Host.exe*32?
i had upto 32 of the processes running and then i got a crash pa.exe using 1.6gb ui processes vary from small to 100mb+ files
yeah by now you can have that many processes. That is normal. I think somewhere is a thread about how to set a limit though, which basically trades UI responsivness for less ram usage.
Yeah, you can start PA with as: Code: PA --coherent-options="--renderer-process-limit=X" , where you can replace "X" with the maximum number of processes. However, it shouldn't crash. Like cola_colin said, that many processes is normal. If you are on Windows, upload a DxDiag.txt (Press <Win>+R, type "dxdiag" and press "Save All Information...". Upload the resulting file here.). If you are on Linux or Mac, what version is your OS, what graphics card do you have and which driver versions?
What DeathByDemin said, don't lower your processes unless PA keeps crashing because of it. The more processes the game used, the more 'quick and snappy' the UI menu will be and the better the game will play
