You could just agree to not nuke each other. It worked in the '60's.

Gotta love a good cold war joke.

But really, once you reach interplanetary/decent t2 income, just build an antinuke. Make it a habit, and you will never get killed by a nuke. Better yet, people will waste the insane mass cost of the nuke on you. Free advantage!

Unless of course they are like me and only nuke people once they have 10 or so.

    *facepalm*
The whole point of the comment was that it's not going to happen by itself, YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM THAT COMMAND ON TOP OF BUILDING THE ANTINUKE LAUNCHER. Yes I'm overstating the amount of micro that requires (literally one more command with the mess of fabbers you just used to build it) but I felt it was worth mentioning.

An antinuke is not going to complete in ten seconds unassisted. THAT is the point I was trying to make. You still need to tell the mass of fabbers you used to create the antinuke to assist the antinuke to get it to complete in that amount of time.

While this sentiment is quite true for many multiplayer games, if I'm playing against a bunch of AIs, I can't necessarily keep an eye on 4-6 of them to kill nukes all the time. Plus one would like a bit of variety, and slugging it out in a nice ground war here and there is always nice.

    Nope!
No options like this one or options like this one for EVERYTHING!
Nothing in between, as this would be an actual statement by Uber against that unit/ structure! And nothing in the current build DESERVES to be treated like this!

P.s.: Nukes are a superbly well-done thing. They give your units a target what to hit in enemies base if you aren´t able to focus down the commander directly---the antinukes! They also works as "emergency buttons" to wipe away too big armys!

pSSt: area assist commands take the micro out of your Anti-Nuke builds

It´s misleading, as it´s not area assist but area patrol: The fabbers patrol between the factories and support everything unfinished! Looks really awesome with Air Fabbers BTW!
P.s.: It´s a real helpful feature, but I also only found out round three days ago! It makes setting up a defense WAAAYS less micro!

Takes two nukes to destroy a commander, or 100,000 metal, 114,000 metal, that's A LOT of metal....

I know.... but then again. Picture this 8 players battling each other. 1 guy sets on a moon with maybe 10 metal and no orbital and he is only building nukes. Sow your the guy who is in battle with tech 1 and maybe tech 2 and defeated 6 players. Then you search for last one. You found him and boom there goes 6 nukes.... He did nothing and wins the game.... and you have a big *** army and defeated everyone..... I dont like that. In the real world nukes are also prohibited. Yes they are expensive but have huge damage.

But i cant convince you so keep on nuking then.

I don't nuke, nuking Is worthless and way overpriced. Nukes were nerfed to hell in the past.

114,000 is the equivalent of 2,533 dox.

A direct hit on a full health com has never worked, not once in the history of Planetary Annihilation.
