Warning! This thread is to be completely ignored if request is unnaturally stupid!

Ok, so my computer sucks... It couldn't run PA up until like a month ago when I realized that all my Intel drivers were like years out of date (like 3 years... I'm not kidding). Now my computer runs PA but slowly at the lowest resolution... Would it be weird to ask for an uber low (ya my computer's really bad) graphics setting where I can still make out the units... But barely? And where the explosions didn't happen? Or there was no shrapnel? Or maybe where the water is just like a blue plane that doesn't move at all?(I obviously don't know what I'm talking about) Or anything at all that would change my PA experience from looks to performance (I wanna get those huge battles ya know?).

If this was pulled of just because one idiot (ie: me) asked for it, uber would (for the fourth time) earn the achievement of Best Game Developement Thing Ever.

    God this thread is embarrassing...

P.S. I have already done all I can (to my knowledge (so maybe not everything)) to change my graphics from looks to performance.

P.P.S. I totally understand if you guys are too busy to solve this for me. I get it;).

As far as I can recall, there should be an information called "Minimum System Requirements" on the steam-store page or the retail box (depending on where you got PA). Have you read these and checked if you meet said requirements, before purchaising the game?

Well to make your game run faster, try closing all unnecessary processes and programs.
Also, could you give us your system specs, maybe even post da dxdiag file here?

Can you post a screenshot with the ctrl-p status on? If something sticks out as a bottleneck maybe someone could come with a hack mod.

    So what you want is:

"I'm trying to run this on a hamster-powered ATM"
    Low
    Medium
    High
    Uber

    :) It's pretty bad...

I didn't really think about it and was pretty stupid in buying it... I was all caught up in getting the amazing game that is PA. I didn't really think about how my crappy computer probably couldn't run the game:(. But hopefully I'll get help from one of you guys and I'll get my sixty bucks worth of explosions and robots!:)

When I run my game it's usually the only program so...

As for the DxDiag... I'll try and post it today sometime. I'm not actually near my computer (I'm doing this on an ipad) .

What? (Sorry I tried to make it clear that I REALLY don't understand computers:confused:(I only knew what a dxdiag was because I've been asked for it before:)))

Same thing as the DxDiag. Just for curuiosity... What would pressing ctrl-p do?

    1. Can you post your specs?
    2. We learned yesterday that the game does only feature "medium res commander textures" and they are automatically loaded in the graphics memory! You could ask somebody to reduce the size of the textures for you...
    3. ...or you could try to higher the amouth of memory your Intel GPU is able to take from your systems Ram!
    4. Really, it would be quite helpfull to know your specs!

It tells you how much memory is eaten by certain things. It tells you how many FramesPerSecond you do get as well!
Additional tip: Did you already set Resolution Scale to 50%? (also known as Subsampling)

It boots up the AI which will then proceed to take over your electronic devices and bank account.

It shows a bunch of performance related stuff like how fast the sim is running and where the CPU load is etc.

Press Windows-Key & r and then type in dxdiag and hit enter!

Sadly this DxDiag don't show anything about Nvidia drivers you have as they're not active at moment.
Any details on what Nvidia driver version you using currently?
