You can keep shouting this all over but i'm going to keep shouting you down. The combat fabber is not at all OP and any nerf to it will result in it immediately going back to the unused bin. It's not really combat fabbers that are too effective, it are the walls that are , because they have so much health . It's almost like putting a whole block of terrain between you and your opponent in a few seconds. Which grenadiers can fire across, but tanks can't. It is not the combat fabber alone that is good/(op?), but the combat fabber, grenadier wall combination . Or that is at least what i think. Many people seem to say the same, so maybe before you shout down the idea you should test it a bit more yourself?

People are also allowed to say/broadcast what they want, and you should not always take what you say yourself as fact. That last sentence doesn't help to prove your point at all either,it is quite unprofessional in my opinion.

Uh oh, don't want to be "unprofessional" on a video game forum. That would be madness. Since we're now all apparently employees...

Anyway aside from your hurt feelings, this is just more of the usual reactionary circle of 'unit that never got used got a buff, now it's OP so nerf it' that goes on here. I refuse to believe in less then 2-3 days max of playing with this balance you can say whether or not the new fabbers are OP. I already agreed with you that walls probably need a tweak (word is Uber is planning to make them block shots from both sides). I'm not here to coddle you or your opinions; I'm here to say I think your assessment of the current balance is poorly founded. Deal wit it yo.

I am saying the same. We need to test it more. I just think walls need a bit less health. I was just explaining that nicb pointed out the walls, grenadier, combat fabber combo was too good and that not only meant the combat fabber. Professional was not the correct word to use, i agree, i kinda wrote it in a hurry. I meant to say that i think you respond a bit to aggressive to people who you don't agree with. Just like you now have to talk about my hurt feelings? . I just feel like it doesn't really benefit the forums, but i guess that is just me.

I'm just going to have fun with grenadier/combat fab/wall strats until the guys i play find some counter to it

Fair enough. I tend to get grumpy when people start the 'new patch released, call everything OP' stuff. But yeah we don't need too much grumpy. That's what happens when I post from work and i'm writing an experimental script that won't work right

Even the comments on the update on Steam are happy. I didn't know that was possible.

It really is better. And as I hadn't played with navy much since the first patch that needed naval speeds, I think the new ships are a nice touch. I do have some gripes still. No saves yet, and pause still seems like a stop-gap. Can't wait until chrono-cam, saving, and pausing are all hooked up and working. Still, it's in pretty good shape compared to when they started. I look forward to the day when I can say that PA works just as well as TA did.
