Moons aren't lumpy. Asteroids are lumpy. This makes ALL the difference.

We need better crashing. The last time I tried it out a moon was able to escape another if it starts it´s halleys round three seconds before collision! Round three seconds!!!:eek::eek:
(this is due to the total unnecessarily unrealistic approach a Halley-Powered body takes! I really hate it---why does this fu***** thing even throttle down before crashing?! That´s not the point of crashing!!!)

Erm.. You do know you can add lumps through the height range modifier, right? =P

That would make it a lumpy moon. Different. Asteroids are all small and super lumpy. Make me a moon that looks like a malformed potato and I'll be satisfied.

Uber could literally add an Asteroid Biome that's not different from the Moon Biome, and everyone would be happy.
Just do what the pony said and it works out. Increase Height Range, set needed Halleys to 1/2 and decrease the size to < 100.
You successfully created an asteroid. Have fun.
