This feature is in the game as of 79317 and the mod is no longer needs. Make Unit Cannon available by default in Galactic War, and include subs. It's available to all advanced fabbers, the same as nukes, halleys, etc. I haven't added it to any of the modifier cards.

Thanks for this Wondible! I'd been scouring the galaxy for a card that would unlock the unit cannon; I guess there's no such thing. After adding the mod (v 2.0.0) the Pelican disappeared from the tech tree of an in-progress GW campaign (build 77725). Disabling it restored the Pelican. I know, who needs Pelicans when you have a unit cannon, right?!
In-progress might be weird. Of course, what was your tech? If you had adv but not basic air, it would certainly disappear.
The loadout is General Comm (limited mobile forces incl. Pelicans + 2 sub-comms); but you're right - only advanced air. Thanks!
