@Geers About the hologram bit, here's the demo of it. It looks like it's working pretty well? Skip to 3:40 or so when it starts up. (Also sorry for triple post xP )
@squishypon3 Lan games (or anything network based usually) has some sort of compensation for this kind of stuff so you rarely notice it in a game unless you have awful ping. I think the issue or a least part of why input lags in streaming games is the input happens on one system, gets processed and sent to the other, processed again and sent to the game, and then it's sent back again, and since it isn't all set up to compensate for these delays, it lags. I'm not 100% sure why wireless devices have minimal latency. I do notice in Super Hexagon that my logitech wireless keyboad/trackpad combo has more of a delay than my mechanical keyboard hardwired to my PC, so I'm guessing it's compensation built in coupled with the fact that these devices are designed and programmed to be as quick as possible to avoid latency.
Out of interest, full holograms are very much possible without glasses or VR. That's how many dead musicians and film stars have been making cameo's at public events. Have a search and look up some vids- the effect is interesting, the holo's have a translucent quality to them that makes them look like ghosts lol. Point is though holo tech is real and happening, it's just crazy expensive at the moment. Give it another few years
Yeah I know BUT THEY'RE NOT EVERYWHERE BEING ALL COOL AND TELLING ME THERE'S A GREAT DISTURBANCE IN THE FORCE!
