I in fact disabled that hibernate file thingy. The power off button exists for reason and I will use it now as I will leave my place for a few hours.

With every post theseeker2 proves one of my theories about him, or her, true. Just not sure which one.

As a backer, I am disappointed that my money had been poorly spent working on ladder & ranking due to this absolutely incompetent community.

Theseeker2 must live in America because he doesn't give **** about his power consumption at home :).

They also said that very soon a save/load function would be added in jan or febr i believe. Also they gonna change ballance etc and new units...

Why are you so against this option,

I can afford to pay my electricity bill, and I can take a guess that since you're posting here, you can too.

@theseeker2 has convinced me that I want a save feature in PA.

Just because I can pay my electricity bill doesn't mean I like to waste energy. I could afford to take 30 minute showers every day, for example, but I don't because that would be irresponsible with water.
Most days I browse the internet on my iPad, to avoid turning the pc on entirely.

As a backer, I'm glad Uber are finally adding saves, and I think rankings and ladders will help the longevity of the game. Don't see what the problem is.

90% of games logged are not multiplayer games, the loud minority here is ******* over the rest of the playerbase - I represent the quiet majority - and to do so I must also be loud.

You think that a save option would detract from the gameplay experience? I completely understand what you're saying regarding what they should be prioritising in development, but I find it hard to believe that a majority of players wouldn't appreciate a save function. I know this has been an ongoing theme of this thread, but I am just surprised as I never thought someone could be so opposed to it :)

I view it as unnecessary - at least in the short term - the majority believes it is time for more important things first, like GW.

If you read threw the steam forums you will see a ton of people who play GW want savegames, because that enables them do redo their games if they lost for example.

I do not visit the Steam forums, nor do I care about the Steam community. If they read these forums, the proper & official PA forums, they'd know that alt+f4 allows them to redo GW games.

Interestingly I nearly posted this earlier, but theseeker almost has a point - I'd be more inclined to use a save feature if GW was more finished, but part of the irritation of GW is not being able to save and come back to longer matches.... Catch 22.

    I have. *shrug*

(Just to be clear, I'm not trying to be contrary, I just literally have played longer games, whether thats down to bad luck or my low level of skill or w/e. As I've said before, I use my computer for cpu/memory intensive work so if I've made some slow progress that I want to come back to, minimising isn't an option and I'd rather not lose my progress in those situations)
