Typo! Under "select idle factories" it says tough instead of though.

Where can i find this key? I'm tired of constantly having to micro my mouth to communicate.

Communication is A: the key to, and B: the lock keeping you away from victory in team games.

So what your saying then, is if your not winning you need to mash 'A' harder?

    One of my home keys.

Question: what do you use explicit move command for? I only use it via right-click.

Issuing move commands into tightly packed areas of enemy units and buildings.

    Really nice guide.

I definitely need to figure out how to best leverage hotbuild2, though. I didn't really get it until I saw the tutorial on it.

It'd be even better if we could assign a macro of selections to keys in hotbuild2 (e.g. I have pretty much a default pattern of order queuing for new factories - I'd like to not have to hammer that out every time).

I was saying this elsewhere, but I'd love a key to deselect portions of my selected units.

I want to click-drag select a bunch of units and then drop the air (or just the bombers) out of that selection via key command.

I don't want to zoom in to select a portion of units + cntrl-z + zoom out + command. The tiny x is too costly to hit. And using cntrl-z zoomed out (or other hotkeys for selecting units on screen) generally selects far more than I actually want/need.

    AAAAA yes
You can deselect a portion of selected units.
Say you put fighters under F and bombers under B in hotbuild.
Select a bunch of fighters and bombers.
    press F to select fighters
or press B to select bombers
or press alt-F to select all non fighter units
or press alt-B to select all non bomber units.

I plan to seperate the selection keys from the normal hotbuild keys with the same customization the hotbuild keys bring. But @cola_colin hasn't invented a time or clone machine, so haven't gotten around to it.

Could you add a CSG Hotkey Guide possibly? I am really into making crazy planets with lots of chokepoints and that would be useful for a lot of other planet "modders" as well.
