    Yeah there are quite a few mods available in Galactic War, and quite a lot more that is possible form what I've heard. Certainly there are some mods to try out :) You should consider giving PA multi player a whirl- not necessarily for 1 v 1 (that is a very intense way to play the game), but team play in PA is superb (especially if you have access to a voip system so you can co-ordinate better).
