that looks like cool stuff. Share some pictures of what you do Also: No that stuff is perfectly fine. There is no overzealous anticheat system. PA works by separating the client from the server and the client only knows what it is supposed to know, not more. So what you do with your client is largely your own thing and does not matter at all to anybody.
The only mod that I know of that falls into the "grey area" is auto factory. There are already tons of appearance enhancement mods out there (custom skybox and awesome projectiles are my favourites)
I agree, though I don't actually use it since I find it really doesn't work well with continuous build
