Reporting System needed!

OK this is terrible if there is no reporting system how am I supposed to report inappropriate players. PA needs a reporting system I have en counted a few players now using hateful or abusive language just today in a 1v1 a player used abusive language against me in a attempt to get me to surrender and just because he could and he would have had no way of being punished for his language. A temporary ban should be in place for such players!

Send a message direct to uber with a screen shot. You can also add players to your block list in game to avoid them in future.

I agree an in game report tool is probably needed. Such a shame it's needed but I guess that's the downside of lots of new players...

What you just witnessed Smithforce are the classic symptoms of "rumpus rustlement". Should have recommended an ointment for that.

Well you have my support for the implementation of a reporting system. Everytime it has been mentioned in the past the community has gone up in arms yelling about how it is practically witch hunting and should be avoided at all costs, but at this point in time there is no real argument against the implementation of some kind of report system.

This system should include the ability to report incidents such as the op's example, ghosting when the spec chat is global and commander deleters.

You're presumably an adult and you can't take someone calling you a fag. You're going to hate the real world when you step out of your room.

I know, i'm a person who can take this but I fear the risk of having other people (newer more sensitive players) who have to deal with this. This can also lead to a bad reputation for PA which is something nobody wants.

I also want to point a temporary ban should be a way to deal with this.

In the real world that is known as harassment and is often looked down upon. If continued long enough there are often consequences for the harasser as well.

In the adult real world I would bitch slap that boy. I don't know you, but in my job or my social life I don't accept those things. I don't know why over the Internet it has to be any different.

Last game I won, I said gg and got a "F#### you" in response.

I think it would be easier if there was a system in place to block a specific players chat. I haven't experienced much of this at all though and I've played over 1000 games

The game isn't going to get a bad reputation because someone insulted you over chat. Just handle it and move on.

To me multiplayer is like sex, I can't fully enjoy it unless the other person enjoys it too xD.

A guy saying those things to someone he doesn't even know playing a game, has some serious personality issues.

I try to avoid toxic people everywhere, much more when I play a "stupid" game to relax and have fun. So I'll appreciate a way to get rid of these people, don't know if a reporting system or other mechanism.

When you get into 'adult' life then frankly you should never have to put up with direct insults from strangers. There is a big difference between banter between friends and a stranger insulting you. The latter is unacceptable, and not something I've come across in a long while thankfully.

The same is applicable in game- if you don't know the person you should treat them with respect, and they should be the same with you.

That's mostly because the people at the higher levels of play seem to be more mature. Even the people we sometimes have problems with aren't this bad.

I agree to this. Don't know what Uber would do with a reporting system though... We will probably just have to live with the block-system we have. At least it prevents bad people from rejoining you.

i think you missunderstood something .. having a reportfeature wasnt what people were against .. but that there was a official blacklist suggested THAT is witchhunting .. if someone realy bothers you report him to uber and block him ..
however don't go and call them out on the thread ala " hey guys userx is a butt .... "
