What is your internet connection like? How fast? If you have a quad core (I'm assuming you do), run a single player match against the AI with as many planets as you usually try to play with and see if this still occurs. Also, please go to start menu, type in "dxdiag.exe", run it, then save all info and upload the resulting dxdiag.txt.
internet speed - 100mb the file is attached. trying to run the game with planets rt now, i will tell u the performance. thanks for response.
now the planets loading so slow. i waiting 15min on 4 planet system (2.1 ram) and its still doesnt done. yesterday i played 2-6 planets and its loaded time was 5sec-30sec max... thats despair. i guess its just not gonna work.
other system. 6 planets loaded time 2min. one AI have no lags its running perfectly. i will try multiplayer now
didn't succeed multiplayer.. i wonder if its my computer - which i guess not. my internet which never have problem with or the servers which work for most people without a problem...
Hmm. So it runs just fine when you're running the sever? Sounds like you may have some sort of network issue. Any anti-virus running or firewalls? If so try disabling them. I'm assuming you have a very capable router if you're handling 100mb/s. Are you hardwired to your router?
its not build in the computer its connected with cable.. hope it answer ur question :/ when i run the game with 2 more friends when i open the server it stuck and i have long lags
Yes it did. Turn off windows firewall. Do you have any anti-virus software? If so, disable it or turn off its firewall. Failing that try disabling security features on your router.
are u sure its the anti virus or firewall at any way? thats the only route u think of that can make the game be so low?
I'm thinking so. From what you've said, it only seems to happen when you're not using you're computer as a server, which implies a network issue. Uber's servers aren't usually so slow. Edit: You wouldn't happen to be using mods, would you?
@Treplox I believe that your Radeon HD 68xx has newer drivers (Catalyst Omega 14.12) available. Try updating these before you do anything else.
i tried to update it downloaded and installed and nothing happened. i think only windows 8.1/7 can use it and i got 8 and im not using mods
I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point. Perhaps try updating your intel drivers and reinstalling .net, c++and directX. @SXX You're a bit better at this than I am, any help you could offer?
@Treplox after reading the above as well as looking at the dxdiag I'm gonna offer my opinion you've not got the Windows service pack installed - it's recommended to install it, I'd recommend to see how much graphics RAM is being consumed by pressing ctrl + P until it displays the usage - it could be that you're asking too much from your graphics card, for example I have created a system consisting of 4 planets (3 metal and 1 lava) and that eats just over 1GB of VRAM. If it's a case that the VRAM is getting eaten then I'd suggest playing on a few moons - nothing like a tropical planet or anything that has trees on as that will again affect the VRAM.
VRAM shouldn't matter unless the graphics settings are up too high for the video card. Which, I suppose, is a possibility. Treplox, it could be worth trying to play with low settings and seeing if that helps.
i always play on low settings at PA but it seems that nothing has change than before.. i can play vs AI as many i want i guess its the internet... i just wonder why only this game does such problem.
Also, as s03g said earlier, you don't have all of the Windows updates installed. You are missing quite a hefty service pack that fixes a slew of stuff. Is there a specific reason you have not updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 yet? As you already found out, new drivers aren't even made for plain Windows 8 anymore for example.
