Was wondering if there is strategty guide for new players I do not understand the weapons yet or the best way to use them. I have only played five matches in the single player. Hoping for a overview of the game mabe a Utube.

Look up ZaphodX on YouTube. Try to stick with recent videos, but he tends to showcase mid-high level play that you can pick up patterns of usage on. Also, check out the video subforum. We have quite a few other YouTubers you can check out too. (I just don't know their names )

    Edit: jeez android gets confused.

Elodea is one the best player around, on twitch you can find others on the same skill level I guess.
I'm a noob so if you wanna try some 1v1 shenanigans you can add me.
On pamatches you can find the wiki (wich I, personally, don't find very usefull, cuz it's poorly edited, but that's me) and some tutorials. Watch out for the outdated stuff.

I would also recommend getting to know the UI and controls.

The ingame player guide can help a bit with that.

What I would emphasize is the use of area commands, particularly area patrol (note, area patrol with fabricators is basically an area assist/repair command, they go around assisting and repairing stuff in their radius), area load (with both air and orbital transports) and of course, area builds.

For controls, I would bring your attention to camera anchors (shift + # to set anchor, alt + # to snap back to that position). Very useful to jump between bases, especially on different planets.

Also, look through the game settings and tweek things to how you like them, particularly in the UI and camera tabs (once you are more comfortable with the game you'll probably start doing more with keyboard bindings as well). Most notable is pole lock in camera options, as this really helps keep yourself oriented.

Wow what active community. Thanks to all of you. The camera at game default does not suit me at all thanks for letting me know that there are ways to alter this. i love quick keys to get around. I see the game is far deeper than it appers on the suface this is what I was hopping for. Thanks to you all again.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's just that I find it to be hard to read.
