I bought PA on Steam, yesterday. After the installation I launched the game but as I start a single player game, PA crashes during the loading. I attach a DxDiag.txt file from my ASUS X54H notebook.
Your drivers are severely outdated. Please download the latest drivers and you probably won't crash anymore.
4 gigs of ram ... 2011 bios, ergo nerver updated ergo 2011 computer ... outdated drivers ... this PC can't run PA decently ... dammit ninja'd
Your driver is over three year old so update it, most of (almost every) crash in this game is duo outdated drivers.
I would recommend start with checking if you have any incompatible software on your PC: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558751813508748383/ Also it's may be worth try to disable SLI as I'm suspect there might be some problem with it and current version of game.
Hi guys, I had old graphics driver because every newer driver for my Radeon HD 6470, dowloaded from AMD website, made my screen black (I tried everything, also delete older before install newer, but nothing worked). Yesterday I found a old driver but little bit newer than mine (09/27/2011 release 8.901.0.0). It doesn't make my screen black and PA runs now. Thank you very much.
