I agree, i had a lot of trouble getting rid of my extra copy of this game. I think i asked 10 persons before someone accepted my free gift of PA. It might also be that strategy in general isn't popular. I did ask from everyone that they would actually play it if they accepted my gift to put it more in perspective.

If you want to sell it, the price is way to high, to give you some advice, lower the price or you will have trouble selling it.

Hmm thats bullshit. This game can do more things other RTS games can't do then other RTS games can do things PA can't do (i think). I played it over 2000 hours and i definitly am happy i bought this game (65 euros i paid i think).

You don't play enough RTS games, probably only the popular ones, this is not the thread to state your claim about your RTS experience, take it elsewhere, if you ain't buying go some place else and give your opinions.

Complaint
Uber Entertainment sold me early access to a game claiming that the game was in a state of production and completion that it was not in. Uber Entertainment claims that the software "Planetary Annihilation" is in it's gamma development stage, also known as Release Candidate Stage, and is mostly bug free and can be reliably played with a few minor bugs. The game is clearly beta and in 17 different builds since 5/2/2014 the problems with the software have become worse than when I purchased the game. Uber Entertainment is using wrongful techniques to lure people into buying this game early. Anyone familiar with software design knows the difference between "Gamma" and "Beta" and by using the word "Gamma" they are fooling people into believing that the game is ready for sale.

Desired Settlement
I would like my money refunded. I purchased 2 licenses from them and 3 add on units for a total of $118.00 USD. I have made requests through the proper channels and they have refused to refund my money.

At every stage of development we made it clear what was updated and what consumers were buying and that it was, in fact, an early access version of the game. We offer support through our support ticketing system. Our website clearly states there are no refunds as this is digitally distributed software.

You made claims as to what was updated and what to expect but those claims were false. Things that you said you fixed were not fixed. Now that the game is released you have broken two more promises. 1) You have not released the server for private use offline, said to be done at release. 2) you have not removed the DRM, said to be done at release. The game is now past release. The fact that it is digitally distributed software has no bearing on being able to refund money. I paid for this game directly to Uber Entertainment with a credit card, there is no excuse for not refunding my money. Your digital distribution node can be told not to distribute to me anymore and my keys revoked.******** sells digitally distributed software just like Uber Entertainment and******** will refund the purchase price. You are simply making excuses. There are more than 2000 negative votes for this game on steam. I know there is and was a support ticketing system. I used the support ticketing system to request my money back as I did not want to support this company any longer. This is a bad company. I currently have a ticket open with Uber Entertainment that is 2 weeks old. This is unacceptable. It does not take 2 weeks to get a Steam key. I am done dealing with Uber Entertainment for life, and I still want my money back.


Final Business Response
This appears to be an issue of misunderstanding. Uber Entertainment feels we invented the Gamma concept simply to explain that the game was in a similar state to Beta, yet with an additional set of functionality. We do not agree that "Gamma" is a well established definition. For example, you can find definitions for alpha and beta on wikipedia: wikipedia.org but it does not mention a gamma as a standard release.

Planetary Annihilation was still clearly marked as Early Access.

If you are looking for help to get PA to be a fun game or if you are looking to make suggestions to help Uber improve PA as a game please continue, if you only want to make questionable claims please take this to the support ticket you are speaking of.
