How about giving team members the authority to banned teammates?

    Hello there , I was just playing a game 3 vs 3 shared team and a guy started reclaiming our stuff , destroying the fabbers and then blow up our commanders after 25 minutes in game play , This isn't the first ******* to do this , Same thing happened 3-4 times before ,So how about allowing team mates to stop a guy who is ruining the game for us , Since people can rename their nick names how about adding a block for the player id so they cant join us in future games ?.

    the only thing to do is leave the game once you see you have a stupid teammate.


    It's not like it'll affect your ladder or anything.

    People will forever be nasty and troll in PA its the nature of the game just have to deal with it and move on
    the rare occasions it does happen.The Lesson of the story is DON'T play public games with Army Sharing Enabled.

    Its amazing what a difference not having that enabled can make in public games.

    Imo there should be a vote kick command in place for shared army team games. That would allow a team to prevent this type of thing.

    Also deleting commanders should create a prompt for all team mates, and only if all vote 'yes' will all commanders get deleted.

    rating and game count, guys...

    rating and game count. it's the only truth on this here earth and it allows you to quality check your players even before ever playing with them.

    and forces THEM to get gud and play seriously at the game or they're left in a corner.

    it's win win.

    you don't wanna diwndle your already small playerbase.

    I suggest getting the notes mod, sounds weird but when used you can obviously write notes about people in your lobby. If you happen to see their name if later lobbies you can make a quick not to remind yourself about their behavior

    (Just a quick fix solution until something better comes out:D )

    This thread reminded me of one custom team game with shared economy where one guy made his own annoying point by deleting all the commanders in the game at the start of the match in order to show his dislike for share economy and after we were about 15 minutes in the lobby waiting for players to arrive. We all did remember his name after that but still it was a bad occurence.

    I have an idea why not only allow activation of team armies if each team is composed of members that are already friends with the other members in his team?

    Unshared armies can still nuke your commander and base.

    At least that shows some effort and creativity went into trolling you :)

    I can well imagine how annoying it is to have such people on your team but they're certainly not the majority. I've played loads of shared army games with random players and only rarely had any issues.

    Simply avoiding shared armies is a difficult proposal however as it puts you at a significant disadvantage if your opponents share their army. For example shared armies can send reinforcements between planets without requiring orbital tech with each commander only needing a teleporter. Also not losing half or more of your eco if one commander is sniped makes a comeback easier.

    While I agree that shared armies is better I don't think you really have played enough to understand how....silly some players can really be when in shared armies. My logic is if you don't know them don't play with them. I have actually made a Shared armies bingo board because there are continuous things that you KNOW will happen regardless of if they are trolling or not, it's just inevitable.
    (This is why I suggested the notes mod for future use)
    Just a few:
    • Someone rushes T2 while on 2 mex spots
    • The energy usage goes up to 100K by the 5 min mark
    • Someone is opening with mass (Insert one teck path)
    • Someone rages and deletes the coms when #2 is not changed
    • The eco doesn't return to 100% until the 35min mark
    • No one expands

    this just in! You do have the authority to ban team mates from playing on your team. All you have to do is
    1) Join a game.
    2) Wait for them to join if they are not there.
    3) See that they have joined and then elect to not play with them.
