So my problem (still for about half a year now) is a never disappearing "Generating Planets" bar.
As on how this actually looks like. I have crated a video to demonstrate this bug.

I am not playing on the steam version, switching between those hasnt made any difference. This bug also appears on the steam client.
Game version is up to date, as of 05.01.2015
Graphics drivers are also up to date.

It should be a clean install without mods... that means if mods arent located in some obscure c:/user... directory

F5 doesnt help, as explained in the video.

    Mods are in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\mods"
though if you install pamm, it should show you what mods you have there easily as well

By the way, a sure-fire way of ruling out mods is using the --nomods flag with the PA executable. That will absolutely prevent PA from loading any.
(And it's definitely an outdated mod, yeah)
