So, when does this start? Your 1700 translates to 1200 where I am. Is there a meeting place? 30 mins left yo.

Tbh I liked the event despite the (non-existant) organization. I think it turned out quite well. At least two players got tips from me and I though it was pretty fun to help others get better. :)

Plz redo next week. The time is a bit bad for me, I'd rather do it one hour later. But I can also just skip the whole "uber vs uber-stream"-thing.

Yeah, we were a pretty good duo, we should try some duo casting sometime :p
I really liked the event even though we didn't really know what to do at the start. I hope some one found my advice usefull

Despite some scheduling snafus it was a great event. :) Filled me to the brim with confidence leading me to jump directly into the Ladder, where I then was soundly defeated by gold league strats. Exact same strat that has defeated me before. :(

Well if you ever want some games feel free to jump into the Promethean TS channel and try a few friendly 1 v 1 games off the ladder.

You probably just needed a few games to hone your new moves before being thrown into ladder games again :p

What really bugs me is that I got defeated by my opponent going T2. On Duat.

Going t2 is a *good move* if you reach a stalemate and have spare resources. Once you have something like t2 bots then you can kill a commander so easily all you need to do is push a bit to goad your opponent to come out with the com (using t1) then *bam* blue-hawk him and he has no chance.

I guess if your loosing to that then you weren't pressuring them enough *or* you were just very evenly matched. I mean when things get to a point where neither player can get an advantage, that's when you need to get creative. Build orbital, get t2, try attacking one side and getting a sneaky gate behind their lines the other, anything really.

He went T2 bot factory at minute 4. But he only ever had one fabricator on it. So during our entire back and forth tank battle he was slowly getting that T2 up. Once he had T2 up he built a few snipers and hid them in his tank army and had them focus down my commander, which was closer to his base than mine at that point, since I had used him to take the plateau.

Scout a lot. If he puts a single fabber on t2 he probably won't crash his eco, so it's not enough to really let you push. A lot of the time if you see that the safest move will be to start your own t2.

Yeah, I probably need someone constantly whispering in my ear: "Remember to scout, remember to scout."
