Help getting mods to work

    Hey ppl regardless of what mods I install (via PAMM) none work. Could I get some troubleshooting tips? Thanks!

    Lets start with the easy stuff: you have to restart PA for the changes to show up.

    Yep, multiple times. I'm guessing that most of the mods I see aren't for the latest build so maybe they need to be updated?

    Do you by any chance have international characters in your Windows username such as for example ä, ï and ü? There has been a known bug in PA since forever where that causes problems loading mods (and writing log files). I think PAMM gives a warning about that nowadays though?

    whenever I am trying to use a mod in a custom multiplayer-lobby my lobby becomes unresponsible.
    I still can smash the buttons, but notthing will happen - if i am trying to browse a new system the UI disappears and i just have the empty background window.

    Playing against AI in singleplayer these mods are working as they should ...

    (these mods are ofc tagged as server mods)
