Few of my favorites: - Kill Bill (Must watch if you like Tarantino movies) - The Game (Michael Douglas, REALLY good movie) - Shrek 2 - The Rock (Nicolage Cage and Sean Connery) - Duplex (Comedy with Ben Stiller) - Black Book (Paul Verhoeven movie, but seriously a VERY good one) Also, Saw 1 (like, the original), is actually very good and way before the torture-porn gore thing. Completely different director, too. It's more a thriller than horror.
+1 Love Galaxy Quest. On that note here are a few oldies you may or may not know. If you don't you might want to check them out: - Short Circuit 1 and 2 (classic 80's robot films- and they actually built a working, albeit remote controlled, robot for it ). - Lightning Jack (Sod Crocodile Dundee.... by far Paul Hogan's best film). - Down Periscope (Battleship but comedy).
Seen it. I've also seen Short Circuit 1/2 for the record. JOHNNY 5 IS ALLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!! INPUT!
Just watched Coraline. Holy crap is that thing supposed to be for kids!? Anyone know any good thriller/actiony movies? Stuff like Dredd or basically any Harrison Ford movie that isn't Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Like Patriot Games or that one where they force him to hack a bank or something. Oh and I watched Rocketeer. Which is like WWII Iron Man. Good stuff.
This one is about as good as thriller gets. More actiony than Silence of the Lambs, another must see thriller. As for Harison Ford stuff, there's always Blade Runner and The Fugitive. And even though you didn't ask for it, there's The Labyrinth. The 80s-est movie I can think of. EDIT:It's apparently a popular title, so I'm talking about the 1986 one.
I'll take a look at The Game. Problem with Harrison Ford stuff is that I've seen most of it, including Fugitive and Blade Runner. GET OFF MY PLANE! Hehe, that movie is great...
